What do I like about this place? Well, it's consistency. Never have I gone and been disappointed. Good service, good food. I always order steak and meatballs. I left another local spot I had been going to for roughly 15 years, and Pho lyfe gained me as a customer.

This is a place my wife frequents on her lunch break and she's been trying to tear me away from the usual spot I go to and, I'll say this, it's a good second place from my other one. I had the P5 (rare flank and well-done brisket), and the broth was about a 7.5-8 out of 10 for me, and the meat itself was great, a 9/10. We also ordered a seafood combo pho, and my wife always loves it. She gives it a 10/10. The pork egg rolls were tasty as long as they were hot, but once they cooled off, they became mushy inside. The service was my biggest complaint, the host/server was not very friendly and did not take his eyes off his phone the whole time we and other customers were eating, one of the other couples had to get up twice to get his attention to give them water, and their appetizer. We had to do the same with the water refills. This person had bleached blond hair and a few tattoos on his arms. All and all, I'd still return, I would just hope for a friendlier person at the door or taking orders.

Food is good and well marinated. They don’t have the combo like the other pho place for rice plate like with grill or egg so in that case it’s on the pricey side. Eggroll is good too. Will try the soup next time

My favorite Pho place. Friendly service and the food is always good. Starting Nov 29, 2025, they will be at the new location: 568 E. El Camino Real, Ste B, Sunnyvale CA 94087.

We have been coming to Pho Lyfe every week for the past 4 years. We loved walking across the street to have our Vietnamese food. My kids love to eat here. They always share a large pho ga. They recently moved to Sunnyvale in the dollar tree/mcdonalds/club Pilates shopping center. A little farther for us but we still love coming! The new location is really nice! The food is always consistent and the servers are always kind to us.

I’d say more things if I could actually taste what I was eating. Silly me, I insisted on drowning my food in chilies. If it matters to your local garlic enthusiast, they have sate in the little metal pot, which you should use in place of Sriracha. It still contains chili though, so best avoid if you’re capsaicin intolerant. Their beansprouts are so beautiful I could cry. Or maybe that’s just the spiciness of my own handiwork. Can I get an ooooooops? Otherwise the broth is excellent once you skim off the spicy oil. All in all, I SURVIVED!
